Black Women Who Care – Community Engagement & Empowerment
Black Women Who Care is the community engagement arm of The Upliftment Collective. Founded by a group of Black women educators committed to creating meaningful change in the High Desert, this program brings people together through service, celebration, advocacy, and educational opportunities that strengthen families and build thriving communities. Through collaborative partnerships, scholarships, community events, and volunteer initiatives, we work to create spaces where every individual feels seen, supported, and empowered to succeed.




Books & Beats – Education & Literacy
Books & Beats is a movement to inspire a lifelong love of literacy. Through culturally relevant books, music, meaningful discussions, and family engagement, we create joyful learning experiences that strengthen reading skills, build confidence, and celebrate the power of storytelling. rhythmic experience.

C.R.O.W.N. Leadership Development


C.R.O.W.N. equips youth and community members with the confidence, leadership skills, cultural pride, and mentorship they need to lead with purpose. Through transformative experiences, rites-of-passage programs, community Black history classes, workshops, and conferences, participants discover their voice, embrace their identity, and develop the skills to create positive change in their schools, communities, and beyond.





United Voices – Civic Engagement & Advocacy
United Voices empowers individuals and communities to become informed, engaged, and influential leaders. Through civic education, advocacy, leadership development, and community dialogue, we equip students and families with the knowledge and confidence to address issues, influence policy, and create meaningful change. We believe that informed voices build stronger communities, and lasting change begins when people come together with purpose.
